Service Description

This workshop is designed to help educators support their student's understanding of early maths concepts. In this workshop, we will explore three key early maths concepts, look at the importance of number value, number flexibility, number sense, and working memory. We will also look at the role of 'sequencing' when helping to develop working memory, the impact Maths Anxiety can have on learning, and examine the importance of play-based learning. The workshop lasts for just over an hour and includes examples of classroom activities designed to encourage children to explore the maths concepts discussed in the workshop.
