Service Description

This workshop is designed to help parents and carers support their child(rens) understanding of early maths concepts. In this workshop, we will explore three key early maths concepts and the importance of working memory. We will also look at play-based learning and share ideas to help encourage learning at home. The workshop lasts just under an hour, and can include a further hour of games and activities for children to join their parents or carers. The second hour includes several games and activities, based on the maths concepts explored within the workshop. All activities have been designed to incorporate either fine motor or gross motor skill development. Parents can use their new knowledge to have lots of numeracy fun with their child(ren).
